On Saturday the 11th of June, we had the pleasure of creating a beautiful almond wedding cake, frosted in creamy white buttercream and an ivory damask pattern. The wedding was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center in Chesapeake, Virginia. 150 guest were welcomed into the reception that was adorned with black and white damask chair sashes and elegant table settings accented with gold. Congratulations Patrice and James!!
We also created a lovely cake for our bride "Robin". This three tiered confection was composed of Lemon and Marble cake. Frosted with buttercream and decorated with filigree swirls and gumpaste lilies. The event was held at the Cost Guard Base in Portsmouth Virginia. 95 guest were served.
Born on the 12th of March under the sign of Pisces. I fell in love with cooking when I was first introuduced to the easy bake oven. My love slowly developed into passion for food, (especially desserts). Finding myself buying cookbook after cookbook. Luckly I was able to find someone that took an intrest in my passion and was willing to try SOME of my experiments and we started traveling across the U.S. visiting bakeries, and restaurants. I will be sure to post my findings.
